The words were there. And then they weren't.

Jun 03, 2026

You know exactly what you want to say.

You've thought it through, maybe even rehearsed it a little. And then the moment comes, someone asks you something in Dutch, a neighbour, the school teacher at the gate, or maybe at the checkout of the supermarket, and your mind goes completely blank.

Not because you don't know Dutch, because you do.

But somewhere between knowing and saying, something shuts down. The words that were right there a second ago have disappeared. So you smile, you say something vague, or you default to English. Again.

And then later, in the car or in the shower, the sentence comes to you. Perfectly formed. Exactly what you wanted to say.

That gap between your head and your mouth is not just a language problem. It is not a sign that you need more grammar or more vocabulary lists. It is what happens when you have never had the chance to practice speaking in real situations, with real pressure, with someone who understands what is happening in that moment and knows how to help you through it.

That is exactly what I do.

In one month, we work on the specific situations where you freeze (even when it’s 30 degrees outside!).
Not in theory, but in practice. We work on the mental part. We recreate the moment, we work through it together, and you leave with tools that are yours to keep.

If you recognise that moment in the shower, the one where the words finally come, this is for you.

Before summerbreak I have a small number of spots available for a one-month intensive programme.
One intake conversation, three sessions of 45 minutes, and a personal vocabulary list and video after each session so you are prepared for what comes next.

You'll get immediate access to my online platform and we’ll focus on your first real breakthrough before the summer.

Ready to work on this? Secure your spot here!

Or contact me first. Let's meet, I would love to hear your story!
